All,
My name is Nathan Fuz and it is with much pleasure I write to let you know that I have accepted the role of President for this up and coming baseball season. Below is an outline of our committee’s vision for the club this year for the development of all players, coaches and managers within the club.

We acknowledge that last year the support for our coaches and managers could have been better across both t-ball and baseball, especially assisting our new coaches in charge of our teams. This year we are committed to providing the support for all new and existing coaches including teaching the necessary and basic skills in order to develop our kids across all levels and abilities. Our club is fortunate to have a large group of past players who have played at a high level in baseball, who are now involved in the club through the participation of their own children.

Our grading days have been scheduled for this coming weekend, dates and times will be posted on the website this week. After the teams have been announced we will be holding a coaches and managers meeting, scheduled for either the 24th or 25th August. This will allow us time to assist all coaches who require our assistance for both training and game day preparation, not only prior to the commencement of the season but also throughout the entire season. We have also engaged Nick Pontifex who played in the US and is a Physio practising in the Sutherland Shire. Nick will be holding specialised training, strength and conditioning coaching throughout the season utilising the new Grand Slam indoor baseball facility in Taren Point.

We are a volunteer run community sports club & help is always required and appreciated. I encourage you all to put your hand up to take on a coaching or management role this season and I can assure you we will be providing you with the support you require.
